Kostas Sotiriou
Founder & CEO
Kostas Sotiriou is a second-generation insurance professional with more than 35 years of experience in the insurance, travel services, and international assistance industry.
Throughout his career, he has been active in both the Greek and international insurance markets, including cooperation with the Lloyd’s of London market, gaining extensive experience in travel insurance, risk management, and international assistance services.
Through this long experience, he identified a significant gap faced by international travelers: while travel insurance provides financial coverage, travelers often lack immediate and practical medical support when health issues arise during a trip abroad.
This insight led him to establish Travel Medical Assistance (TMA) and develop a broader ecosystem of services designed to support international travelers with reliable medical assistance wherever they travel.
Today, Kostas Sotiriou serves as the Founder and CEO of KONEL GROUP, the holding company behind Travel Medical Assistance and other travel-related healthcare and insurance services, focusing on innovative solutions for the global travel industry.

Christiana Aristidou
Co-Founder & Head of Legal
Christiana Aristidou is a Business and Technology Lawyer with more than 26 years of international legal experience, specializing in business law, technology law, regulation, and compliance.
She is the founder and CEO of The Hybrid LawTech Firm, a Cyprus-based legal practice focusing on innovation, digital transformation, fintech, and emerging technologies. Throughout her career, she has advised regulators, public authorities, corporations, and international organizations on complex legal and regulatory matters.
Christiana is actively involved in international policy and standardization initiatives and currently serves as Head of the National Delegation of Cyprus to ISO TC 307 on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, while also contributing to several international regulatory and technology committees.
Within the group, she oversees legal strategy, regulatory framework, and international compliance, supporting the development of innovative services such as Travel Medical Assistance.

Conrad Pramboeck is an international business advisor specializing in
compensation consulting and strategic investments in innovative service
and tourism companies. As founder of Upstyle Consulting, he has advised
Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups across Europe, Africa,
and Asia.
Conrad invested in TMA after identifying a critical gap in the travel
safety market: while travel insurance provides financial coverage,
travelers often lack immediate access to professional medical assistance
when abroad. TMA’s model—coordinating English-speaking doctors to
travelers’ accommodations in 100+ countries—solves this operational
challenge.
